Pantys instagram- Brand voice and translation

Scope of Work: Pantys is an international brand of reusable, absorbent underwear and menstrual products based in Brazil. Their content is created in Portuguese, and then translated into English to cater to their international audience. They have over 470k followers on Instagram, which is their biggest social media account. I’m in charge of advising them on the cultural differences in the content, and translating accordingly. Some posts don’t get translated if the content isn’t relevant to an international audience. The best part about this global brand, is their inclusivity. They strive to provide comfort not only to their mainstream audiences, but also to underrepresented populations that could use their products such as: those suffering from menstrual poverty, people who suffer from urinary incontinence who could benefit from absorbent underwear, transgender people who menstruate, mothers who are breastfeeding, and many more.
